About Veronica K Stage Makeup

My love affair with makeup began by sneaking my grandma's lipstick. She had the most gorgeous vanity laid out with tons of amazing lip colors that drew me in like a moth to flames.  This childhood enchantment blossomed into a passion for makeup, and I loved the art of transforming faces.  Even my dear Aunt patiently allowed me to practice all kinds of creative makeovers on her, although I was only ten years old!

However, I encountered a distinct set of makeup rules in the dance world. Instructors oversaw and dictated the aesthetics and techniques, and in time I became disillusioned with their methodology.  My desire had grown for a more expressive makeup approach. I remember rebelling a few times and doing my own creative dance makeup looks in my teen years only to be scolded and put back down under the rules. This challenged me to embark on a journey of continuing self-discovery, and further develop my creativity with uniquely captivating looks that complement the artistry styles of ballet, jazz, and modern dance.
