About
Pirouettes & Balance Course for Adult & Senior Ballet Dancers (Teens Welcome) This corrective ballet training program is specifically designed for adult ballet dancers and senior ballet dancers who want to improve pirouettes with confidence, stability, and safe technique. Teens are welcome. In this course, you will learn how to improve turnout while turning, coordinate proper spotting technique, and build pirouette core control needed for clean turns without gripping or forcing turnout. You’ll train through balance and postural stability exercises in passé, tandem, fourth position, and retiré to strengthen your ability to hold alignment through the full rotation—not just the preparation. This course addresses the most common pirouette errors seen in adult dancers, including winding up with your arms, bending the knee in turns, over-rotating, losing your spot, forced turnout at the knees or ankles, and tension-driven technique. You’ll receive clear corrections, imagery, and neuromuscular strategies proven to help dancers turn better without pain. You’ll also learn recovery techniques for dancers to reduce injury risk and safely prevent overtraining—an essential component for adult and senior dancers whose bodies require smart strength, not endless repetition. This course is ideal for: Adult ballet dancers (beginner–advanced) Senior ballet dancers wanting safe improvement Teens developing confidence in pirouettes Dancers returning after injury or time off Improve your turns. Strengthen your balance. Train smarter. Continue dancing with longevity. This course brings therapeutic exercise, ballet technique, and research-backed injury prevention together to help you conquer pirouettes at any age.
