Creating Safer, Stronger Adult & Senior Ballet Dancers
NFPT-Certified Personal Trainer (ACE-Candidate) | Professional Dancer |Former Physical Therapist Assistant

I’m Veronica K, my mission is to provide adult and senior dancers with an anatomy-informed, restorative approach to training that prioritizes long-term joint health, functional strength, and the lasting joy of being in the ballet studio.

From the Stage to Personal Training
My perspective on dance is shaped by years on the stage and in the clinic. I spent time performing for Carnival Cruise Lines and have worked as a guest artist for companies like Ballet Wooster in Ohio. Those experiences taught me firsthand the physical demands of a professional career and the importance of a body that can withstand the test of time.

To support that longevity, I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy and spent years working clinically in outpatient sports medicine and geriatrics. My days were spent focusing on gait training, movement analysis, and functional rehab for complex cases like post-stroke recovery and spinal injuries.
Since 2020, I’ve combined that clinical rigor with my work as a Certified Personal Trainer to develop the Veronica K Platform, a research-supported training program designed specifically for adult and senior ballet dancers.

Specialized Support for Your Unique Journey
I often work with dancers who require a higher level of anatomical care than a standard open ballet class can provide. In my private lessons, I help students navigate complex medical returns to the barre, such as recovering from hip replacements, spinal fusions, or foot surgeries like bunionectomies and cheilectomies.

I also have a deep passion for working with senior dancers. Whether we are using ballet-based movement to restore balance after a brain surgery or managing the challenges of neuropathies, my goal is always to restore function and confidence. Of course, I also work with many adult dancers who simply want to fix compensations in their turnout, improve their foot articulation, or build the specific strength needed to safely qualify for pointe work as an adult.

Leadership and Artistry in the Ballet Community
I am dedicated to elevating the standard of training available to our community. In 2025, I was honored to be a featured instructor for cross-training and injury prevention at the International Adult Ballet Festival. I also hosted my own 3-Day Adult and Senior Ballet Intensive to give both dancers and educators better access to the tools they need for a safer, more effective practice.

As part of my commitment to evidence-based care, I am a professional member of Doctors for Dancers, a global network that connects performers with healthcare specialists who truly understand the unique demands of the dancing body.

Beyond the mechanics of movement, I believe performance is a complete experience. I lead a collaborative stage makeup project alongside Suzanne Patterson, an Emmy Award-winning Hollywood Makeup Artist. Together, we provide high-definition makeup education to help performers of all ages feel beautiful and confident under the lights.

Your Coach for Sustainable Artistry
My techniques are built for restoration, function, and longevity. I don't believe in "one size fits all" training.
Instead, I follow research-supported dance medicine principles to see my clients flourish. Whether you are a senior re-engaging with ballet for your health or an adult dancer looking for a smarter way to train, I am here to help you stand taller and dance longer.
